Unique Sponsorship Opportunities

THE BREWING INDUSTRY INTERNATIONAL AWARDS offer a very high profile and a highly respected event which draws the worldwide brewing industry together.

Its purpose is to reward excellence in commercial brewing, to the benefit of the winning brands whose success can be promoted in the competitive market place.

The feel-good factor surrounds the Competitions. Whilst they are taken seriously by entrants, judges and organisers alike, they are also an enjoyable and stimulating event with which to be involved.

With the move to the International Brewing Convention 2011, even more opportunities for sponsors arise. The world’s bbrewing industry will be meeting there and the profile of the Competitions will be high.

Sponsorship Structure - Summary

For 2011, a series of sponsorship packages is being developed to meet the promotional, networking and social programme needs and budgets of beverage industry suppliers, media and trade organisations.

These centre not only on the judging at IBC 2011 but also on the category winner announcements, to be held within the prestigious surroundings of Guildhall, London in April 2011.

2005 HEADLINE SPONSORS

The top level package will offer a very extensive range of benefits, including privileged access to the judging, and the chance to make a technical presentation to the entire panel of expert brewer judges, drawn from all round the world.

Package elements are also negotiable to ensure that the maximum benefit is gained for the sponsor’s marketing and communications agenda.

FEATURE SPONSORS

This is a cost-effective ‘special access’ package that also brings many of the same benefits, but with slightly more limited access to the judges. It does offer one ‘feature’ event during the judging period. This could be the hosting of a lunch which the sponsor’s staff and guests can also attend, meeting the judges informally, and sampling some of the entries.

TECHNICAL SPONSORS

The highest standards of technical presentation of the entries to the judges require that the best equipment is used. This was the earliest form of ‘sponsorship’ for these Competitions and provides the opportunity to have a highly visible ‘testimonial’ in this forum of ‘excellence’, which can offer a quality cachet to the product or service employed.

Cash sums are not involved in this level of sponsorship, simply the donation or loan of equipment and services, in return for another valuable publicity package based around the publicity campaign and the staging of the judging and Awards Ceremony.

TROPHY SPONSORS

Each competition (or category) produces a Champion Beer. A trophy is awarded in addition to the Gold medal that the beer will have already won.

Trophies are mainly presented by trade associations and media organisations on a continuing basis.
